Situated along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river, comprised of 4 single villas and 6 Family villas - sits the beautiful Samburu Elephant lodge, aptly named after the beautiful lumbering Elephants that visit the river to quench their thirst and have a play in the river.
The rooms are very spacious the single villas are 90SQM in the area they have 7ft X 7ft king-size double beds all fitted with mosquito nets, furniture to relax in, and a wide balcony for relaxing and occasionally having dinners.
The Family Villa has three areas, 1st the lounge area to relax and enjoy privacy as a family or Friends, 2nd a large bedroom with a 7ft x 7ft king-size bed, and 3rd are the same size of the room which can be a twin queen size bed or a double king size bed, with Hot water showers in and sun showers outside.




SWIMMING POOL AREA
Samburu Elephant Lodge also prides itself on the wonderfully set swimming pool where you can swim with
uninterrupted views of the Ewaso Nyiro River. Also, hot water bubble tubs are fired occasionally on request to make after-game drive moments relaxing. The pool area is extremely large enabling one to have enough space to enjoy the tranquility of the Ewaso.
CONFERENCE ROOMS
Our Conference center holds up to 60 people and can be used for various functions. Our restaurant prides itself on its light but plentiful cuisine with multiple venues set for you to dine at. The restaurant just sits at the edge of Ewaso allowing one to dine and relax at the bar lounge with a cold air breeze and unlimited eye view.

2020-05-14LaVera was an incredible experience. I would recommend it for everyone who is looking for serenity, sustainable living, quality services and getting in touch with oneself and with nature.
We had some troubles getting used to the zero-waste policy, but learned quick enough! :)
